The PD turned a page in their notebook with a rather serious expression and picked the next question.

“Doctor, when is it hardest for you as a doctor?”

The camera lens closed in on my face.

When a guardian grabs you by the collar?

Or when you collapse onto the on-call room bed after back-to-back shifts, only for the siren to go off five minutes later?
