The Special Skill of Eating Monstrosities Raw

Li Mo said nothing. The next moment, he abruptly raised a hand. Just as Yin Xiu was about to draw his knife, Li Mo reached over his head and stretched his hand up.

Yin Xiu had only just raised his brows in confusion when the sound of shattering glass came from above. Li Mo reached into the portrait over Yin Xiu’s head, grabbed the spirit who had just snitched to the mayor, and yanked him out of the painting.

“Aaaaaah!!!” The spirit let out a miserable scream as Li Mo tore him to pieces, rolled him into a little ball, and tossed him into his mouth.

The familiar sound of chewing began, but the screams didn’t stop. The spirit continued shrieking while Li Mo calmly smiled and ate.

Because they were so close, Yin Xiu could clearly hear the spirit being torn apart, the sound traveling through Li Mo’s mouth and down his throat. Then Li Mo swallowed, and the screams abruptly stopped.

Silence fell over the secret chamber. There was no more chewing or biting, only Yin Xiu’s silence.

He slowly relaxed and looked up at Li Mo, his expression cold. “Why are you standing so close? Do you have to show off your trick of eating monstrosities raw?”

Li Mo’s eyes narrowed, and he seemed to be in an even better mood. Despite Yin Xiu holding back the urge to draw his knife, Li Mo insisted on hugging him, pressing all his weight against him like last time and pinning him in the corner.

A chill seeped through Yin Xiu’s clothes. Li Mo’s inhuman temperature constantly reminded him that what clung to him was only human-shaped. What lay beneath that form was anyone’s guess. No matter how human Li Mo looked while showing affection, Yin Xiu could never let down his guard.
