There was only one serious problem.
That guy in front of me was more of a tough opponent than I'd expected.
The two quick fire spells I had casually thrown into the basement to test its strength disappeared without a trace.
It felt like magic just wouldn't work on it at all.
I wondered if it was an issue with the element, so this time I formed a stone spear and fired it off lightly, but the result was the same.
Seeing it turn to sand and scatter before it even reached the golem's core made my head ache for no good reason.
“Hmm... this is going to be pretty annoying.”
Just as the urge to ditch the whole Estelle-senior business and call it quits hit me hard...
