The demon Amducias appeared.
And it didn't take long for him to become the community's idol. He had quite the unique personality after all.
Thanks to that, users even gave him a few nicknames.
The first was 'Badge of Honor'.
For users, dying to him meant earning a badge of honor for clearing '18+ Mode', while surviving meant you were still a virgin who hadn't even managed that much.
Those who cleared '18+ Mode' would show off with strange confidence and mock the 'pure ones' lol.
Of course, not many people actually got offended by this.
Well, some did, but not too many.
After all, to them [Demons Saga] was just a game in the end. There are few people who deliberately avoid '18+ Mode'.
Time passed like that.
Another nickname emerged as Amducias became an idol.
It was 'Purity Detector'. This nickname applied more when meeting NPCs than users.
Since [Demons Saga] was a popular game, it had many popular NPCs.
Though users were busy mocking each other, they agreed purity was important.
Thanks to that, if you browse the community now you can easily find posts like these:

[So how many people do you think the 4th Knights' Commander has slept with?]
Five? Ten? Hard to estimate
+
[ㄴ Probably at least five?]
[ㄴ Definitely more lol With those skills and looks he must have a truckload of women]
[ㄴ fr Even if he only slept with a few of them that's easily 10+]
[ㄴ But he rejects that many too]
+
[Wish One-Horned Lord would visit Kyle too]
Our Kyle must be pure and innocent right?
One-Horned Lord would be so moved he'd shower him with gifts
+
[Are you seriously saying that lol]
[Fact, People who look innocent often have more experience]
[ㄴ Huh fr?]
[ㄴ With that easy-going look she probably had hundreds approach her, think the count would be low?]
[ㄴ nofuckingwaythatsnotpossibleyoucantshakemyworld]
[ㄴ Even if not a virgin, probably only 2-3 partners? haha... heh...]
Though there was something unique about these discussions - while they speculated about partner counts,
Few assumed anyone was still a virgin.
This was due to the cold truth of the world.
'Men' have more opportunities for experience than 'women'.
'Women's' sexual desire is much higher than 'men's', so 'men' get approached more often.
Just breathing brings opportunities for sex.
Though average 'men' are said to have lower sex drive, surely a few among the many would be appealing.
That was reality. And [Demons Saga], which aimed to reflect reality, was no exception.
That's why users didn't obsess over purity. After all, it was just a fantasy...
Of course, Yor was discussed too.
He was one of the well-known NPCs after all.
+
[What about Yor then?]
ykwim
+
[Definitely over 10 lololol]
[Just look at that face, totally seems like he got around a lot]
[ㄴ I like promiscuous men...]
[ㄴ No he lives in the forest, might be less than you think]
[ㄴ But why does he live in the forest anyway?]
[ㄴ idk]
[Wow the gallery's gotten so gross lately;-;]
[ㄴ You a guy?]
[ㄴ Even hate is understandable these days]
The community was peaceful and low-brow as always.

Clunk-! Clunk-!
"Ow."
"Ouch."
The carriage shakes, making their butts hit the wooden seats.
This feeling, like the seat was spanking them...
Currently they were on a short trip at Yor's request. The reason was obviously to confront the demon.
During the boring and uncomfortable journey, Yor briefly asked Chae-rin:
"... Were carriages always this uncomfortable?"
"Yeah, since we're on unpaved roads... Should we have gotten a better carriage?"
"Nah it's fine. Just curious since it's my first time riding one, wondering if they're all like this."
Well, being in the forest all the time meant he wouldn't have many chances to travel far.
Being a Manifestor would make it hard to go out carelessly too.
Chae-rin looked at Yor for a moment.
She hadn't expected him to suggest going out first.
Looking at things like this, he was quite bold despite carrying the risk of 'Demon's Blood'.
Whether he was confident in his abilities, or confident he wouldn't be discovered...
At least he was well-disguised.
Currently Yor wore a thick, wide hood. Obviously to hide his appearance.
Honestly, since they were going to a rural village rather than a city, showing his real appearance probably wouldn't matter... but there was no need to draw attention unnecessarily.
As such, his hair and eye colors were slightly altered with 'Illusion' magic.
"Uncomfortable? Want to sit on a cushion?"
... Of course the one who cast the illusion came along too. Ha-neul.
That was natural. Just because illusions were cast didn't mean they lasted forever. To keep refreshing the magic, the caster had to come along.
"Ah, thanks."
Yor lightly thanked her and sat on the cushion Ha-neul handed over.
Chae-rin watched this with slightly displeased eyes.
She had wanted to travel just the two of them...
Though she knew it was unavoidable due to the disguise, she still felt a bit disappointed.
After all, Ha-neul had gone on a city picnic alone with him.
'Maybe I should have chosen mage class...'
She briefly regretted it but quickly erased the thought. Chae-rin knew best that she wasn't suited for magic.
Still, the journey was progressing smoothly.
Though the carriage was uncomfortable, no bandits appeared and the atmosphere was pleasant.
Fortunately there was no awkwardness between Ha-neul and Chae-rin.
Though there was that unfortunate(?) incident before, their connection went back too far to let that make things uncomfortable.
Of course they were somewhat conscious of it internally... but didn't show it outwardly.
"So how much further do we have to go?"
As they traveled, Yor asked again.
These boring travel times clearly didn't suit someone used to constant movement.
Well, even they thought the travel time was quite long.
It had already been over a day since they got in the carriage.
While they could at least log out occasionally, Yor couldn't even do that.
Chae-rin tried to comfort him.
"We're almost there."
As mentioned before, they were heading to a frontier village.
Looking at Amducias's movements, there was a high chance he would pass through that village next.
Being the community's idol meant his location was fairly well tracked.
"......"
Speaking of community, a few posts suddenly crossed Chae-rin's mind.
The 'Purity Detector' nickname had made certain topics trend lately.
Of course Chae-rin, who frequently checked posts, had to see them.
Though the post topics were quite vulgar... honestly they were intriguing.
Of course she tried hard to erase them from her mind, as just thinking about it felt sacrilegious.
"We've arrived!"
After traveling quite a while longer, they finally reached their destination.
At the driver's shout, they looked outside the carriage.
A rural village far from the Forbidden Forest.
Thatched houses and fields smelling of manure could be seen.
It seemed like a quiet, peaceful village.
The NPCs must not have heard news about Amducias yet, as everyone was leisurely walking the streets.
Stepping out of the carriage, Yor stretched and shouted:
"Phew, finally!"
Free from that uncomfortable carriage.
He knew it would take a while but didn't expect over a day of travel.
Medieval transportation really was all garbage.
'What trouble am I going through because of a demon.'
Yor complained internally for a moment.
If it weren't for that Holy Water, he wouldn't have moved this much.
Though separate from that, it was refreshing to be out of the forest.
Honestly this kind of outing was rare for him.
Maybe he even made up this excuse just to get out of that forest for a bit.
"Shall we get moving? First we should find an inn."
After observing the scenery for a moment, Ha-neul spoke up.
Now that they'd arrived in the village, their task was simple.
Find an inn and wait until Amducias passes through.
Though they weren't sure if he would actually come through here, this was their best chance to catch him.
So Yor and the other two began searching the village for an inn.
As an aside, they obviously weren't streaming.
There was no reason to expose themselves on stream when they went to the trouble of disguising.
Though Chae-rin did think regretfully 'This would get so many views if we streamed it...'
"Hmm, an inn? Should be one down that way at the end."
Fortunately they found the inn's location quickly.
A villager gave them directions right away.
"But be careful. There's some strange Otherworlder at the inn now. Says a demon's gonna attack here soon... really."
They even got this strange additional information.
News about Amducias had already reached this village.
Meaning another user besides Chae-rin and Ha-neul was already here.
"Looks like someone's here already?"
"Yeah."
Yor's group headed to the inn with some curiosity.
They found out who the user was right away.
Because they called out to the group as soon as they arrived at the inn.
"Oh, Chae-rin!?"
"?"
Moreover, this user was someone Yor's group knew.
Not only was she a streamer like Chae-rin, but someone Yor had met once before.
Chae-rin blurted out the other person's name in surprise.
"... Ma-ri?"
It was Kim Ma-ri, the streamer who had died to the Owlbear before.
