Damage and Chaos

“Wounded, gather here! Please maintain order!” “Damn it, look at the *road* all torn up... It’s going to take forever to repave this.” “And what about the *buildings*? The *Residential Areas* where the *Northern Reaches* *residents* lived are all completely destroyed. Just thinking about the complaints from those *people* makes my head spin.”

Hours after *Asmodeus* was *exterminated*... Currently, *Investigation Work* is in full swing across the *Northern Reaches* *Area*. Until then, the entire *Area* had been stained red, making it difficult even to enter.

However, only now that the *buildings* had regained their color and the *Monsters* had dwindled, could the *Investigation Work* commence.

The *Northern Reaches* *Area*, revisited, was... truly devastating. From the start, it was a *Region* where the *Country* had continuously dropped magical bombardments to reduce the *Monster* population. As such, the *Area* was literally scorched earth. Just thinking about restoring this... already made my head throb.

“Well... at least we won.”

Still, the *Overall Person in Charge* who had been dispatched could only force a smile and look on positively. This level of damage was expected from the outset. The *Worst-case Scenario* was *Northern Reaches* being completely overrun, with the *Mainland* also invaded. Just preventing that made the *Person in Charge* want to offer *Gratitude* to God.

Of course, for her, the 'gods' were the *Extermination Squads* at this moment who had successfully completed the *extermination*. Especially the *Elite Personnel* who played a major role in capturing *Asmodeus*.

“This is uncomfortable. When I get back, I need to get *healing* from a *priest* right away.”

“It’s a chance to legitimately slack off, and you’re already thinking of getting *healing*?”

“Oh, you’re right! Cancel going to the *priest*.”...
