To be honest, I hadn't entirely failed to foresee this situation.
After all, it was a Labyrinth, wasn't it? I had expected a few people to get lost in a structure deliberately designed to make you wander. Paimon himself had even come to us directly to sow confusion.
But I never thought I’d be the first one to fall behind.
Well, I was the one who chased ahead first. So, I couldn't really complain about getting separated. At one point, I even got excited and just ran without thinking about those behind me.
Thanks to that, I ended up alone, but honestly, I wasn't too worried.
This wasn't overconfidence or arrogance.
As I mentioned before, *This Place* was a shoddy Labyrinth. The Imps here weren't very strong, and even if Lemegeton Remnants appeared, I could Subdue them without much difficulty.
And even if I were surrounded by hundreds of Imps and cornered... frankly, I could just break through a wall and escape the Labyrinth.
As long as the *Elementary Schooler*-like tactic of “breaking through walls to escape a maze” that as a kid I thought of was possible, there was really nothing to be afraid of.
It was, quite literally, a Labyrinth with an absurdly large scale but no substance, like a hollow pastry...
