Catching Me at the Last Moment

Stats.

A game character's stats—the things that represent that person's limits.

I fell into this world after allocating my stats of my own volition, and those stats shaped me into who I am now.

Even setting aside physical ability, they made me someone who isn't easily swayed by anything.

And, just like the stats themselves, they always manifest in a way that feels like a game.

I look at the status window that appears before my eyes.

Resistance.

Others might not even realize they've resisted.

Or maybe they resisted in their own bizarre ways...
