I look at the venison in front of me.

"Could this be..."

Laura murmurs in bewilderment, while Aila stares at the venison with a stiff expression.

I, too, stare intently at the venison.

When it comes to venison, there's only one thing that comes to mind for us.

"What, do you not like meat? Surely that's not the case."

The man before me murmurs as if intrigued and holds the meat out to me.

"Child, spring venison is delicious. Go on, eat up."

I slowly accept and eat the meat the man offers me...
