Even in a world where magic exists, there is such a thing as inexplicable intuition.

Love is a prime example.

You might fall in love at first sight and do things you can’t rationally explain, as if bewitched by magic;

you might sense that your family, thousands of miles away, is in danger;

or a parent protecting their child might accomplish something that makes no logical sense.

The miracles born of this emotion called love sometimes created miracles even more magical than magic itself.

And on the battlefield, too, an inexplicable miracle occurred.

‘She parried it again.’

It wasn’t a pure, heartwarming story like a miracle of love, but what unfolded on the battlefield was a miracle that even magic couldn’t explain.
