Jiyeon unnie quickly prepared the vegetables and made the seasoning, and every time I watched her, I was impressed by her cooking skills. Her knife work was steady and reasonably fast, and after effortlessly making the seasoning, she lightly scored the meat and began cooking the dakbokkeumtang. She looked just like a chef.

Even though dakbokkeumtang was a relatively simple dish, there was some kind of magic in unnie's hands that made it look like a magnificent meal. Just as I was swallowing my saliva while watching the dakbokkeumtang bubble away, the doorbell rang. When I opened the door, Minsu oppa was standing there.

"Y-you're here early?"

"Jiyeon invited me over, saying she'd make delicious dakbokkeumtang, so I came."

"I was a little surprised that you came so quickly."

"Really? Hahaha, I did come a little early."

He was sweating a little, but that was probably because the sun was quite hot for early summer. He also looked just slightly short of breath, so I could guess that he'd hurried over. Unnie's cooking was always worth at least the price of a meal bought outside, so coming here for dinner was more worthwhile than buying a separate meal.
