We remained in Claridium for two days after the incident ended, as the mop-up operation against the Doppler remnants and the search for survivors continued.
Eternia was a week away from its Final Evaluation. However, the Eternia authorities judged that continuing the relief efforts would be more beneficial than returning to take the exams, and thus allowed us to stay here longer.
All forces here, including us, set up a base at the Port where supplies came and went, and continued their work.
Hailey was groaning, using a thick iron bar like a lever to push away rock-like debris.
“Ugh, if only Plantera were here, this would be over in an instant. I’m especially missing those *perverted logs* today.”
“Just wait a bit. The Empire and Eternia have sent personnel and supplies. Oh, and even the Duchy.”

If Xenia had been here, clearing the heavy debris with Magic would have been easier, but Xenia, along with Lilith, was assigned to odd jobs like managing supplies and preparing ingredients.
They simply couldn’t bear the sight of the continuously emerging decaying corpses in the city.
