My reason couldn't comprehend this absurd situation, even using stream of consciousness techniques.
The woman who comforted me in my dreams was actually the Hunter, the Hunter's perception changed because of me appearing every night, and the reason she chased after me wasn't because she misunderstood my support for Outer Gods, but for a different reason.
As the Hunter still seemed about to do something, I convulsed and shouted:
"No! Wait a minute. Didn't you hate me? Isn't that why you even formed a rebel group?"
I thought it would be better to appeal to the Hunter's original motivation.
Then I thought it would be much easier to persuade the rational Hunter through dialogue.
"I'm not someone who appeals to emotions. But looking at your actions so far, it's natural to think you might be swayed by such things. Being pulled around by Outer Gods' pleas, even losing your human identity, and possibly standing as an enemy to humans."
The Hunter just tilted her head at my words and spoke rationally.
"At first, I thought you'd handle things well on your own. And thanks to that, you perfectly dealt with the Torturer. But you've gone too far. Even that deranged Knight Order is encouraging you to use this. At first, I was going to threaten you to stop, but since it's come to this, I changed my mind. Why not just make it so you can't look at Outer Gods at all?"
No, no, no...
