I named the new dog companions.
As usual, I decided on the names myself.
I want to believe there won't be any problems.
Watching the dogs, I naturally noticed that one of them seemed to be the leader.
It was the one most concerned about and attentive to its companions.
This new companion also seems quite intelligent and considerate of the others.
There don't seem to be any problems with companions of other species, either.
Names.
...The new companions all look very similar.
Now that I've named them, I'll have to work hard not to mix them up.
I named the dog I thought was the leader Ai.
There were three other male dogs: Sora, Nea, and Raki.
I decided to name the three female dogs Ami, Ayu, and Mira.
Their fur was a shade of indigo, so I got the idea from that.
I'm satisfied with the names in my own way, so no problem.
After a few days, they began turning around when I called their names.
Now I really can't afford to get their names wrong. I'll do my best.
They had been living in the stone house until now, but I guess they had recovered.
For some reason, they wanted the outdoor shed.
Well, the most comfortable place to live is best, so that's fine, but I'm a little lonely.
...
Another lizard joined the group.
As expected, its shape is a little different.
Well, it wasn't different enough to be a problem, so that's fine.
I ended up naming it Flying Lizard.
I thought of all sorts of names, but my first impression was too strong.
I couldn't get the fact that it flew out of my head, so the result was rather unfortunate.
Well, it's cute, so I'll forgive it.
Fuwafuwa and Flying Lizard are often together.
Sometimes they float down the river with me.
With me are Fuwafuwa, Flying Lizard, and lots of amoebas.
Doesn't this look like a gathering that's gone beyond strange and become downright creepy?
Well, nobody minds.
...
Yesterday, a huge number of creepy snakes were hunted and brought back.
I was a little freaked out, but the real question was whether they were edible.
Since they brought them back, they must be edible.
Feeling a little nervous, I tried grilling just a small piece.
It tasted like chicken.
The giant rabbit was the closest thing to chicken, but this was even more chicken-like!
I did a huge amount of prep this morning.
Speaking of chicken, fried chicken.
I seasoned it with fish sauce and sugar, coated it in potato starch, and fried it.
I'm looking forward to it.
My concern is whether it'll be enough.
The last time I made it, everyone got excited, after all.
I made three times as much as last time, but I hope it's enough.
As a side dish, I boiled and mashed some potatoes, then mixed in fish sautéed with fish sauce.
I want eggs, but there aren't any, so I'll have to do without them for now. I want to find some, too.
There are still so many things I want... once it gets a little cooler.
The usual mealtime scene, the usual scramble for food.
Ai and the others joined the scramble for the first time.
Was even three times as much not enough? Five times next?
I don't have enough hands to make it, though...
The fried chicken is delicious.
The mock potato salad is delicious, too.
Today's meal was satisfying, too.
The disappointed looks from those who lost the scramble hurt.
Come to think of it, they don't come to take any of mine.
If they come for mine... Don't run.
I don't want to join that scramble.
The winner would definitely be decided in an instant.
There can't possibly be any option other than running away for me.
