Chapter 15

Chapter 15: Should We Really Not Pursue Yuri in a Dungeon?

At my words, the bastard flinches and waves his hands, but does he not realize that's digging his own grave?

"What bullshit? What Black God Church?"

This fucker seems to have gotten even dumber after becoming a Mutant.

The signs are obvious.

"Listen here dickhead. That sea urchin tattoo on your neck is proof, you fuck. Plus you've got Demonic Power wrapped all over your body. Are you advertising 'Hey I'm from the Black God Church'?"

This is a case where he got even dumber after becoming a Mutant.

"You fucking bitch! Fine, I'll make sure to violate you in the most humiliating way today!"

"Zero interest in your tiny penis, bye. Tee-hee-hee."

Never thought I'd say shit like that with my own mouth.

But whatever, right? I'm biologically female after all.

Seems my words hit the mark as he gets enraged and pops the blood vessels in his eyes.

He finally loses his mind and charges at me.

CLANG!

And at that moment, the Firebat strikes his body, sending him flying like a shooting star straight into the Dungeon entrance.

Kim Ji-hye, already wiping blood off her baseball bat, truly lived up to her Instructor title.

"Nice strikeout, Instructor. So did you kill him?"

"Hit him hard, but we need to know who's behind this so I can't kill him."

I mean, I already know who's behind it but...

"So what do we do about him running into the Dungeon?"

"Don't I have excellent subordinates? Now then, I'll give you all a new trial."

Trial? Is this woman actually insane?

"Go into the Dungeon and catch that Mutant Kim Seung-joon who's hiding in there. If you can't catch him alive, beating him within an inch of his life is fine too! Do that and I'll give you all high grades!"

This person is just being lazy.

From a Student's perspective, dealing with a Mutant means they can give high scores.

And from that trash Instructor's view, she won't have to rack her brains teaching Students anymore.

Isn't that garbage? She's not just a Firebat, she's burning trash.

Sending newbie Students after a Mutant - Kim Seung-joon's lost his mind right now. He's probably waiting in there to eat us when we go in.

In other words, our lives are in danger.

Making Students who haven't even received proper training face a Mutant is like giving peasants farming tools and throwing them at Genghis Khan's Mongol army.

"Hey Instructor."

"What?"

"We don't really need all the newbies going in right? If Students die, it'll just ruin the famous Firebat's reputation."

In the original story, Hanseong Academy loses over half its Students to Mutant attacks.

Hanseong Academy is one of Korea's top 3 Hunter Academies. Half of that academy dies, and other academies during that time also take damage from the Black God Church's raids.

To make future battles with the Black God Church, Sins, and final battle even a bit easier, we need to keep as many Hunters as possible.

The original Writer liked the word "if" and made lots of if-endings.

Like a future where Hunter Academy Student casualties were reduced. If Students survived to become future Hunters, even the Chinese Warlord Villains could be defeated easily.

Here, for the sake of leveling up the kids too, it makes sense for me, Reina, and Han Soo-ji to go.

"That's true, but somehow I feel like I'm being the bad guy here."

"You're not just feeling like it, you actually are the bad guy."

"Ah-ahem. *cough* Anyway, if you subdue Kim Seung-joon and return, I'll cancel Class A's midterms."

Seems she's feeling guilty as she offers quite the deal this time.

"Can we really beat a Mutant?"

"He already got hit by the Firebat. We can handle it ourselves."

It's just a dream anyway. Let's just do it.

"Wooooooo!"

"Yeahhhhh!"

The foolish Students cheer excitedly.

The other classes have already gone to their assigned Dungeons, but from our class only me, Reina, and Han Soo-ji will enter.

Not that our classmates are low level though.

Class A is full of specially recommended Students and those with real abilities. Obviously there are many Guild-affiliated kids and famous family children too.

Of course I, Yoo Eun-ha, was put in Class A since I'm the Divine Sword's sister.

Missing one Dungeon run won't make much difference compared to other classes.

"So I'm thinking me, Reina, and Han Soo-ji should go in."

"Hmm. Is that better?"

Truth is, from the start it wouldn't have been hard to deal with Kim Seung-joon if we just had Choi Si-woo instead of Kim Cheol-soo and the others. At minimum, with just Reina we could have made a strategy. But they made these balanced teams, so now with Kim Seung-joon in the Dungeon it's better to take the Mythical Grade weapon holder and Elf descendant.

"Having Bbeum-mi with us would be perfect too."

I gathered Reina, Han Soo-ji, and magic girl Kim Bbeum-mi together.

"This is Spirit Arrow Reina and Flame Spear Bitch Han Soo-ji. And this is Bbeum-mi. Reform Guild's mascot, real name Kim Bbeum-mi. She's been to a Dungeon with me before."

"Hawawa my name is Kim Bbeum-mi. Please take care of me."

At my words, Kim Bbeum-mi introduced herself with an awkward smile. Reina and Han Soo-ji looked at Bbeum-mi with complicated expressions before speaking.

"When did you go secretly?"

"When I was skipping school before."

Reina tilted her head with an ambiguous look, but Han Soo-ji was glaring at me with narrowed eyes.

What, what's her deal?

Don't tell me she's acting like this because I kissed her and now I'm bringing another girl. This is unfair. Naturally capable males have many females.

Though I may be biologically Yoo Eun-ha, a woman, my heart is still that of a man who likes women. I can't let Han Soo-ji hold me back here.

"Alright, let me explain about Kim Seung-joon. Unless he has a unique ability, Kim Seung-joon is just an idiot with Physical Enhancement."

The problem is his improved Magic control. Unfortunately because of my own thoughts making a dragon instead of a sphere.

Magic control affects Physical Enhancement control.

He's probably stronger than in the original. Actually, even with Reina's original team I was planning to use the other two as meat shields while dealing damage with Reina, but now with this DPS-focused party, Han Soo-ji and Reina need to take him down perfectly.

"Hawawa. But who are we catching?"

"A Student turned Mutant with a Monster Core implanted."

"Hoee. That Mutant person who just got knocked into this Dungeon?"

"Yes."

"Can I take the Core when we're done?"

No, that would kill him. We need to capture and torture him first. That's how the Black God Church plot really starts showing up and we enter the Black God Church storyline.

"Since this is a Mutant issue, the Association will be contacted right?"

"Hawawa. How disappointing. But Bbeum-mi will help White Hair unnie."

I'm starting to get used to that annoying character concept, but Reina and Han Soo-ji's faces twisted.

Especially their looks at me are quite unpleasant.

Expressions wondering why I'm associated with a woman like this.

"No really, she's a good person despite how she looks."

"So that's the type you like."

"You're misunderstanding something weird, but Bbeum-mi talks like this to use magic better."

This person is a conditional ability user, you see. Actually just looking at pure power she's easily C-Class Hunter or above.

The only problem is that fucking way of talking.

"Hawawa. Bbeum-mi is Bbeum-mi."

"See what I mean?"

Bbeum-mi perfectly misreads the mood I tried to set. How can she be so bad at reading the atmosphere?

Just wait. Later I'll expose all the atrocities Reform Guild committed.

Goblin's Labyrinth

The Goblin's Labyrinth is structured like a forest.

Usually the boss is something like a Goblin Foreman or Goblin Mage. Just Goblin-tier guys in the end, but now Kim Seung-joon that bastard has probably become the boss.

Logically even if that idiot can't handle the Mutant power well, he should have wiped out the Goblin boss.

"This training Dungeon has Goblins and Horned Rabbits."

"Horned Rabbits? Those super cute rabbits with horns?"

"Be careful. You'll get your skull pierced and die."

Goblins and Horned Rabbits. Both are among the weakest Monsters.

Well, I probably don't need to explain Goblins. Aren't they the early game cannon fodder in most games and fantasy novels?

Horned Rabbits are rabbits with unicorn-like horns on their heads.

They look cute on the outside, but these bastards are vicious - if you let your guard down and get close they'll tear you apart, and if you run into a pack they'll leave nothing but bones.

That's how nasty they are.

"Hoee. Hoee. Everyone look. There's a horned rabbit!"

Oh for real. After walking a bit we saw a horned rabbit staring at us with glowing red eyes.

"Come on, you're supposed to be Hunters but you're getting excited over something like that."

"Fireball!"

Just as I was about to say something she throws a fireball at the Horned Rabbit.

"Huh?"

"Food has been made!"

The Horned Rabbit instantly burned into roast rabbit. Bbeum-mi was happy to get food.

But no matter how you look at it, we can't eat something with the fur still on and guts not cleaned.

It's even turned to charcoal.

"Bbeum-mi. That's burnt. Burnt. Throw it away."

"Kay."

The obedient Bbeum-mi dejectedly threw away the roast Horned Rabbit.

Wonder how far in we've gone? If we were still near the entrance it would have been manageable, but the deeper we go the more Goblins and Horned Rabbits there are, making it quite annoying to deal with.

"Gieeeek."

"Ugh gross Goblins."

We encountered a pack of Goblins.

Their lecherous gazes scan our bodies.

Ah, that's it. Those bastards. They want to use us to satisfy their sexual urges. Staying true to various works' lore, these guys get horny for human women and treat them as their breeding stock.

Seeing those fuckers drooling while eyeing my chest made rage suddenly surge up.

"Where the fuck you looking, shitheads."

"Eh-eh. Um. Right. Where are you looking!? You perverted bastards!"

Han Soo-ji, who was staring at my chest along with the Goblins, got even angrier than me. Her Flame Flower's Spear ignited as she aimed at them.

Reina's Spirit Arrow pierced a Goblin's throat,

Han Soo-ji's Flame Flower's Spear blew up a Goblin's head,

And Bbeum-mi enthusiastically burned Goblins with fire.

Meanwhile I just watched.

"Wow. Unnies are amazing."

I gave three claps for everyone's performance.

"W-wait, why are you just playing around? While we're killing Goblins?"

"Now that you mention it, yeah? Don't just smoke in the back, help us!"

"Hoee hoee!"

But... it's such a pain. No, I need to conserve energy since I don't know my own strength yet if I'm going to fight Kim Seung-joon.

However, these bitches are Choi Si-woo's Heroines.

Han Soo-ji aside, Reina is probably squealing inside from liking Si-woo. If they catch Kim Seung-joon and tattle to Si-woo it'll just be annoying for me.

I put my hands on Reina and Han Soo-ji's shoulders and spoke softly.

"Because I believe in you? I was confident you could easily handle mere Goblins without me."

At my words Reina and Han Soo-ji trembled with nowhere to look.

Han Soo-ji scratched her head while grinning, and Reina suddenly crossed her legs and stood demurely like she was trying to act cute.

Even Kim Bbeum-mi was the same. Her eyes shook violently before sparkling.

"So manly!"

Looks like I gained another Heroine.

Why though?
