Chapter 34
It was time to go back to the Academy.
And today, for some reason, there was new gossip going around.
"Holy shit, Siwoo is fucking gorgeous."
"Was she always a girl?"
"I heard it's because of the Divine Sword's influence..."
Something was off about Siwoo's condition.
Wearing the female student uniform, he? she? Anyway, Siwoo looked completely drained of life force. Their hair had somehow become long silver-tinged straight hair.
Even the eyelashes got longer. And those breasts... quite big. The feminization seems complete.
Even if they wanted it, having their magnificent magnum down there disappear and suddenly develop a crack instead must be quite shocking.
If you listen closely to their muttering, you can hear them saying "I can't believe I'm dickless."
Kind of pitiful. But nothing can be done.
Well, I prefer female Siwoo over male Siwoo anyway.
Even if they tried to cross-dress, can't do much about those swelling breasts.
"Alright, everyone quiet!"
When Firebat appeared and shouted first thing in the morning, the gossip burned even hotter.
"Well, surprisingly, Siwoo has become female due to the Divine Sword's influence."
Wow, look at that no-fucks-given attitude.
"Ah, no. Um. She was originally female, but had to cross-dress due to unavoidable circumstances."
Awkwardly laughing it off as a mistake, but it's obvious how the students will take it.
Some students were already looking at their crotches, sighing in relief that they weren't chosen by the Divine Sword.
And some male students looked at the still shell-shocked Siwoo with sympathy, while the female students who had been interested in Siwoo before were also stunned.
The ripple effects were massive.
Title: Isn't Yoo Eunha Responsible for Siwoo Becoming Female?
For real, high possibility. Firebat says she was cross-dressing but even if her face was pretty, how could someone with those badonkas cross-dress? Definitely Eunha not wanting her in the harem and changing Siwoo like that.
-Didn't Firebat first say it was the Divine Sword's influence?
-Then is Jinseok a girl too? Could be different for each Divine Sword.
-Hawawa. Eunha unnie, Siwoo is just a baby. You need to protect her.
The anonymous bulletin board was going crazy, and the newspaper club even published a school paper after trying to interview me.
-U "Siwoo's sex change has nothing to do with me"... Irresponsible statement. Is this what makes a bad woman?
-Male students wanting sex changes increasing rapidly... Female students protest "Do you think periods are a joke?"
No, how the hell would I even make someone change sex?
Can't really deny it outright since I did tell the Divine Sword to make Siwoo completely to my taste if they wanted it.
But I didn't expect it to change this quickly.
If this can help people forget about the Black God Church's raid on Hanseong recently, I can accept it.
Next is the group battle issue.
I hadn't paid attention until now, but those Elf Ruins probably have something to do with the World Tree. Now that I'm leading the story instead of Siwoo, we need to go to the Elf Ruins.
"Eunha. They changed the group battle again. The location changed too."
This was info from my underling #1, Flame Spear Bitch Han Soo-ji.
"Where are they holding it?"
"Since Hanseong Academy got damaged, seems like they're doing it at Goryeo Academy."
"Well that's fortunate."
Goryeo Academy is decent enough. Security is good too. No, honestly, Hanseong Academy isn't bad either. The instructors teach students well like proper Hanseong elite instructors. Firebat is the weird one.
"How's the group battle format?"
"They say it's that AOS style? Each has their own lane, capture points, and finally steal the flag."
Reina answered carefully.
I get it.
It's like those internet games that are still popular nowadays.
If it's capture the flag, that's easy. Just beat up everyone and grab the flag.
But there is one issue.
How much of my power should I use?
The heroines grow significantly in the group battle through fighting Class B and other academies. I could win the competition right away by wielding the Evil Dragon's power but... I should decide based on the situation.
"The causality could change the group battle too, right?"
[There's a possibility Villains might interfere.]
Seems like in the future registered in the Akashic Record, there are futures with and without Villain interference.
"What did you say?"
"Nothing. So basically we either dominate with skill and take the flag, or use tricks to steal it?"
"That's right."
In the end it's a simple problem.
Other academies weren't really mentioned much in the novel.
The causality probably won't get twisted at other academies. Then Class B is what matters.
That guy called Cheok Jun-gyeong's reincarnation in Class B would probably be a really dangerous opponent for Siwoo.
That's how it actually was. His combat ability is no joke.
We'll have to see how female Siwoo handles it.
"Will you all be okay? The attention won't be entirely positive this time. Hanseong's defenses were too weak."
"That's Hanseong's fault, not ours right?"
"It means you might get looked down on for being Hanseong students."
Goryeo and Seoul Academy are in a losing position against Hanseong.
Then the Black God Church raid happened.
Naturally, the other academies will tear into Hanseong Academy.
Would their students be any different?
"What about Siwoo then?"
"Siwoo... seems completely mentally broken right now."
Reina shook her head while looking at Siwoo sitting in a corner looking miserable.
There's a special medicine for that one.
To make them fight Park Jun-hyeok or whatever, Cheok Jun-gyeong's reincarnation, they need to get their mental state back first.
Given synchronization is possible, they should have a chance against Park Jun-hyeok.
"Hey, Siwoo. Are you really going to stay crushed like this? I get needing time to process mentally. But you need to snap out of it right now! The group battle is right around the corner."
"......"
"Stand up! Get up! What's your goal? In the end it's saving the world as a Divine Sword User right? Is changing sex really that important for such a grand mission?"
Life returned to Siwoo's eyes at my words.
They were originally the protagonist. Of course they have to stand up for justice.
I mean, this is someone who abandoned all the heroines and returned to the past to save the world right? With that level of determination, sex shouldn't matter.
Siwoo themselves must be thinking the same.
"You're right! I need to save the world. What does being male or female matter?"
"That's our Siwoo."
Wonder how much they went through in the previous cycle to give up on all the women and come back solely focused on saving the world.
Anyway, after going through all that, living as a female should be fine now right?
Just need to act cute under me.
"Yoo Eunha. The Dean wants to see you."
Just as I was thinking about how to handle that Siwoo bitch, Firebat called for me.
"Ah, yes. Well since we need to prepare for the group battle, how about Siwoo trains these two? I'll go see the Dean. Listen well to Siwoo, you two."
"Ah, okay."
"Sure."
"Huh?"
Siwoo seemed a bit surprised.
From their perspective, this is the first time seeing me after collapsing.
In other words, not only did their fate of dying change, but I've taken their position (protagonist) which must be even more shocking.
I do feel a bit bad about stealing the protagonist role.
Honestly, considering how much they must have struggled just to regress after choosing the multi-ending of escaping to another world with the heroines in the final battle.
So I want to lighten the burden a bit for Siwoo who must be tired of being the protagonist.
* * *
"Nice to meet you. I'm Dean Kim Young-hee. This is our first time meeting right?"
I saw the Dean in the novel too.
A married woman and former A-Rank Hunter.
And Yoo Jinseok's senior. Not a heroine.
Just someone who helped Jinseok, but didn't have much interaction with this work's protagonist Choi Siwoo.
-They say Hanseong Academy's Dean is the senior of 1st generation Divine Sword User Jinseok. Must be strong for sure?
Along with Siwoo's monologue, she only appeared later to personally give Siwoo an award after the group battle, then barely showed up afterwards.
She's married and even got pregnant near the end of the work.
"Yes, Dean."
"I'll get straight to the point. I have a favor to ask."
"Please go ahead."
I kind of have a feeling about this.
"You know about the group battle with Goryeo Academy right?"
"Not just Goryeo Academy, there's Seoul Academy too right?"
"Goryeo Academy rides on their Constellation, but Seoul is honestly no match for us. Moreover, because of this Black God Church raid, Goryeo Academy's Dean Viola is looking down on me so much. Because of that, we absolutely cannot lose."
"So basically you two Deans are rivals and you can't lose, so you're asking me to work hard?"
Kim Young-hee and Viola were famous rivals in the previous work. Seems they're still like this even after becoming Deans.
"Exactly that, but. Viola is a Yankee to begin with. How could Koreans lose to some Yankee?"
"Ah, r-right."
Showing nationalism here?
Then what about the students under that Yankee - I seriously want to ask.
This is clearly just her personal issue.
I wasn't planning to lose anyway, but if the Dean asks, I could specially crush the opponents overwhelmingly.
Of course, I need proper compensation.
"Please. We must win."
"No, um. Well if we win, what do I get?"
"Aren't South access rights and Elf Ruins exploration rights enough? I'll give you whatever you want. But don't target me since I'm married."
Seems the Dean's heard rumors about me being les too. She's hugging herself tightly to keep distance from me since she's married.
Yet deliberately showing her ample cleavage - what thoughtless behavior is this?
Is this proof that goals can be scored even with a goalkeeper? Or just wanting to flaunt being female?
She was a character who made a lot of sex jokes in the previous work.
"Ah. No matter what, how could I touch the Dean. Um..."
Should I touch her?
Honestly her body is really making me horny... *gulp*
No. Better to seek material compensation. I learned from my office worker days. Married women are really dangerous if you touch them carelessly.
Then there's something else to get instead.
"Um. There's an item storage underground in the Academy right?"
"Is there something you want?"
"You have the World Tree Bow right?"
The World Tree Bow. The ultimate weapon made by Elves and the weapon Reina gets in the latter part of the work. Because Reina only got the World Tree Bow late in the story, she was hopelessly outgunned by other heroines in firepower. Even though Elf descendants have noble blood and lots of magic power, they can't draw out their full power without Elf weapons.
Getting Reina the World Tree Bow early and making her combat-ready is a good approach.
The World Tree Bow is absolutely necessary.
"We do have it, but that? No, no matter what, that's..."
"Since Elves made it, wouldn't it be good for an Elf descendant to be the owner? So please let Reina have it as an indefinite loan."
"Hmm. Alright. That much is fine."
Not a bad deal.
I want to get it before the competition to make the group battle broken, but not sure if Reina can properly handle the World Tree Bow yet.
Siwoo seems to have something in mind too. Then maybe leaving it alone for now is an option.
Well then, shall I go meet Lee Yoo-jin from Cheonsan Group now?
Need to feed Songdo as soon as possible.
