On a chilly dawn, Siwoo and I stepped outside the inn, each holding a bottle of beer.

The inn was open around the clock, and guests were still drinking inside, so it wasn't a good place for a candid conversation.

We squatted in the empty lot behind the inn, gazed at the moonlight, and clinked our bottles together in a toast.

“Why were you up instead of sleeping?”

“Well... the soundproofing was pretty bad.”

Siwoo seemed unable to sleep because the sounds of sex coming from the next room had bothered him.

It must have been quite a lot for a virgin to handle; I understood immediately.

“Ah, enough. I know what you mean. I couldn't sleep for the same reason.”

I, too, had helped make those sounds with Sophia, but there was no way I could tell him that.

I grumbled that I was in the same boat and brushed it off...
