The academy life of Rina, princess of the Minerva Empire, was surprisingly ordinary. Until she enrolled, she had expected nothing but troublesome affairs.

By troublesome affairs, she meant people swarming around her, just as they constantly did around her older brother, Crown Prince Leort. It was easy to understand why, considering that Lady Sophia had attached herself to Rina upon enrollment and Jackson had recklessly approached her before the first lecture even began.

Contrary to her expectations, however, such situations hardly ever occurred. That was thanks to Cecily, the princess of Helium and the first friend Rina had made after entering the academy.

She had drawn everyone's attention by displaying extraordinary behavior from the entrance ceremony onward. In addition to her beauty, she was a stunning woman who exuded grace through her bewitching aura.

Stories about Cecily had already spread far and wide throughout Halo Academy. Because of that, quite a few people came looking for a chance to catch even a glimpse of her, but even those attempts were thwarted.

Just as Cecily was always beside Rina, Rina was planted firmly at Cecily's side. No one dared approach the two of them without extraordinary courage.

Thanks to that, Rina was able to enjoy a relatively peaceful academy life. She had made a new friend, and she could enjoy the things she had been unable to do in the imperial palace, making every day a pleasure.

More than anything, there had been one unexpected gain. As Rina chatted warmly with Cecily, a thought occurred to her, and she immediately asked a question.

"Cecily. There's something I'd like to ask you. May I?"

"Hm? Go ahead. Rina's questions are always welcome."...
