In a group room at an internet café, I was playing a game with Miyuki and Tetsuya, the tagalong.

It was a survival game where we built houses, crafted various items, and struggled to stay alive.

A male character wearing nothing but underwear moved this way and that across the grass.

I was absentmindedly pressing the keyboard to move my character when Miyuki's rag-clad character approached, so I clicked the mouse.

Miyuki, who had been struck out of nowhere, tore her gaze from the monitor and looked at me.

“Why did you hit me?”

“Just because.”
