Renka took me to a small shop on an out-of-the-way street.

She could have taken me to a shop she knew, but she had apparently come here because she was worried an employee might recognize her.

Still, the atmosphere was pretty nice.

There were quite a few people, and the merchandise was fairly varied.

It seemed like the shop was sustained by word of mouth... Renka probably felt as though she'd stumbled across a hidden neighborhood gem.

She was showing interest in the plastic-model section for robot anime.

She looked like she was dying to buy one, but it was obvious she was holding back because of me.

I went to the display shelf lined with SD figures and inspected the one I had planned to buy.

How could something barely the size of my palm be this expensive...
