A Foundation Establishment banquet.

A celebration held to honor a cultivator who has reached Foundation Establishment.

Its origins are unclear, but it is a tradition that dates back at least several hundred years.

It is usually held during a season that reflects one’s Dao, though plenty of people choose the date themselves.

February 3.

It was both the last day of Great Cold (大寒) and the final day of Eun Seolhwa’s Foundation Establishment banquet.

Only a few dozen cultivators remained in the banquet hall, ranging from late-stage Qi Refining to Great Perfection, along with about ten Foundation Establishment cultivators.
