“Why does your face look like that first thing in the morning?”
“..I saw something awful first thing this morning.”
Going into the post calling for an administrator without a second thought had been my downfall.
I’d been subjected to visual terrorism by a photo of a goblin being raped and shitpics.
Even I couldn’t help feeling dizzy.
[If you want to make a delinquent head mod work, prepare GoblinCas and shitpics]
ㄴ[How is this a tip]
ㄴ[(Dumbfounded emote)]
ㄴ[Head Mod User Manual, holy shit]
“Tsk, have a glass of cold water and get ready. The patients who couldn’t come yesterday will be coming in too, so there should be quite a few today.”
“..All right.”
“Well, even so, there won’t be any emergency patients. The orcs have been defeated, and it’s not as though we’re undertaking any major construction.”
‘Whenever someone says that, an emergency patient always shows up.’
But I didn’t bother saying it aloud.
It was nothing more than a jinx, after all.
Margaret hadn’t been wrong.
Patients did pile up, as though to prove my concern unfounded, but there were no emergency cases.
‘Well, even a jinx can be wrong sometimes.’
Most of the patients who came in only needed medicine prescribed or their wounds disinfected.
I occasionally used Heal, but only on children with weak immune systems.
“But, Priest, why did you only prescribe medicine for me when you treated that little kid?”
Of course, there were still people who made unreasonable demands like entitled customers.
However, I was able to convince them with a straightforward response.
“If you don’t like it, you can get lost.”
“No, it’s not that I don’t like it..”
“Then quietly take your prescription and go.”
“..Yes, Priest.”
Faced with that threat—or rather, friendly response—the man meekly took his prescription and left, as if he’d never been a nuisance in the first place.
Still, I did worry that my language had been a little too harsh for a priest.
“I suppose you do have a tough side, being a wandering priest and all.”
But Margaret was actually pleased.
“Keep doing that. If you respond with a smile for no reason, they think they can get away with anything and drag things out forever.”
“Will do.”
Perhaps that one firm response had done the trick.
After that, the number of patients pointlessly demanding miracles noticeably decreased.
Thanks to that, I opened the Gallery during a brief lull.
[Pfffft!]
[Taking advantage of the head mod not managing the place, I’m posting sexy kobold porn!]
[Sigh, fuck, I should take a break from the Gallery for a while]
I clicked it in secret, glancing around for no reason.
Title : Taking advantage of the head mod not managing the place, I’m posting sexy kobold porn!

Be grateful, human.
[Thanks]
[(Chimpanzee emote saying “Thanks”)]
[Did you really have to bait us?]
[Disappointed..]
ㄴ[Why the hell are you disappointed]
‘Is this a kobold?’
I quietly saved the kobold (not) porn picture.
After saving it, I slowly surveyed the Gallery’s atmosphere.
It was better than yesterday, when fear of the Gallery’s impending closure had consumed me, but the place was still a complete mess.
Spam and trolling continued, and the moment I looked away, heinous pictures that contaminated the brain were uploaded nonstop.
‘Come to think of it, they said they were leaving management to those “sub-mods.”’
The Gallery’s disastrous state seemed to be largely because there were still no sub-moderators.
‘I suppose I need to pick some sub-mods to handle the management.’
From what I had gathered, a sub-mod was a sort of “employee” appointed by the head mod.
And it was “common sense” to pay wages when hiring employees.
The problem was that I was neither particularly well-off nor had any way to pay them.
‘It would be nice if they worked for free, but there can’t be anyone insane enough to do that.’
If the previous sub-mods had heard that, they surely would have vomited blood.
It was just as I was wondering whether there was something suitable I could offer.
-Gallery Settings
In a corner near the top of the Gallery, I noticed an option I hadn’t seen before.
‘Is this a menu visible only to the administrator?’
I examined it closely, then clicked it to find out.
[Manage Tabs]
[Featured Post Recommendation Criteria]
[Posting Cooldown]

[Add Gallery Features]
As the name suggested, Gallery Settings was a dedicated page where I could alter the Gallery’s settings.
While looking through the settings one by one, I found an interesting feature at the bottom.
‘With this, I can offer benefits instead of wages.’
But I wondered why the previous head mod hadn’t used such a useful feature. I soon found out why.
-Gallery Feature: Auction House
-Your mana is unsuitable for activating this feature.
‘Does that mean the features I can activate differ depending on the user’s mana?’
Apparently, the features that could be activated varied according to the type of mana.
If so, had the previous head mod been unable to use any features at all?
I checked the remaining records.
That wasn’t the case.
The head mod had activated several features as well.
The most conspicuous of them was an IP tracker that identified the locations of Gallery users.
‘Maybe it was a good thing the previous head mod had died.’
I thought so inwardly.
Since I knew impersonating a priest was a problem, it was better if even people from my own world didn’t know my identity.
A sense of unease welled up inside me, but that person was already dead. I shook the thought from my head and sorted out the features I could activate.
‘Are there only two for now?’
-Gallery Feature: Activate Item Transfer.
‘I don’t know what my mana has to do with item transfer, but if I put it to good use, it should make a suitable reward.’
I wrote a post on the Gallery immediately afterward.
Title : (Announcement) Recruiting Sub-Mods.
Anyone interested, please submit plenty of applications.
The response to the post was explosive.
[Me, me, me! Make me a sub-mod! Please make me a sub-mod! I’m confident I can do a good job!]
[Applying]
[Head mod, I know you’re new to the Gallery, but this isn’t how you recruit sub-mods]
[This head mod newbie is showing his inexperience like crazy lol. Don’t you know the Gallery gets fucked up when you make idiots who want to wear a badge sub-mods?]
ㄴ[No need to point out it’s already fucked up]
[First time I’ve seen a head mod recruit sub-mods like this;]
[I volunteer!]
Some people applied, but quite a few users warned that handing out badges like this would cause problems with Gallery management.
‘Are they saying I should force people to work? I don’t understand.’
But when more similar comments appeared afterward, I wondered whether I really was ignorant and asked for their opinions.
[Is this not how you’re supposed to recruit sub-mods?]
ㄴ[You don’t normally put a badge on someone who wants one..]
ㄴ[? Then are you saying we should grab people who don’t want to do it and make them?]
ㄴ[Yep, that’s the correct answer]
ㄴ[At least on the Gallery, that’s right, head mod bro]
‘..They’re obviously making fun of me.’
Apparently, they had all decided to gang up on me for being a newbie and make fun of me.
I soon ignored the reply comments and checked only the application comments.
‘The three who applied fastest should be enough.’
Applying so quickly meant they checked the Gallery frequently, and they would surely have both the aptitude and enough time to manage it.
-User <GreenSkinPornBarrage> has been appointed sub-moderator.
-..Appointed sub-moderator.
-…
The problem arose immediately after I appointed the sub-mods.
“Priest Flawy! Priest Margaret! We have emergency patients!”
‘I knew it wasn’t an unfounded jinx.’
This time, the jinx I’d thought wouldn’t come true finally struck, and emergency patients came pouring in.
I immediately closed the Gallery and got to my feet.
For a moment, I remembered that I hadn’t told them about the new feature, but there was no time to dawdle.
…
[Is the sub-mod list for real?]
ㄴ[Who became a sub-mod?]
ㄴ[GreenSkinPornBarrage]
ㄴ[Fuck, we’re screwed]
Surprisingly, interest in the new sub-mods quickly faded.
Everyone’s attention had been stolen away by something else.
More precisely, by the newly added feature.
Of course, at first, no one believed the new feature existed.
[Guys, what’s this?]
ㄴ[What]
ㄴ[They say a new feature was added]
ㄴ[???]
ㄴ[What the fuck is this idiot talking about when the Gallery’s on fire? Did he breathe in carbon monoxide or something?]
ㄴ[No, fuck, I’m serious!]
ㄴ[Don’t bullshit me.]
[You fucking head mod, then what the hell is the item transfer feature?!]
[?? It really is here]
But as reports from others who had found the same feature began pouring in, the mood changed completely.
After checking hesitantly, everyone eventually found and acknowledged the feature.
However, finding the feature and being able to use it were separate matters, so many trial-and-error attempts were inevitable.
[Looking for someone to test the transfer feature with. I’ll send an item]
ㄴ[Go go]
ㄴ[Sent]
ㄴ[Why the fuck did you send shit?!]
There were a few minor victims in the process, but once they eventually figured out how it worked, the Gallery’s atmosphere heated up.
[This feature really lets you send items to Gallery users]
ㄴ[So in the end, isn’t it just delivery, only really fast?]
ㄴ[That’s what makes it fucking awesome, dumbass]
ㄴ[Really?!]
It was simply a feature for sending items, but its possible uses were endless.
[Oh, looking for someone to trade local specialties with]
ㄴ[I make my living as a peddler; wanna do it together? I’m in the Koneil region of the Kingdom of Tir]
ㄴ[I’m in the Duchy of Phil, let’s go]
Delivery and trade were representative examples, so some users who had been short on money for a long time immediately seized on the new feature as an opportunity.
The drawback, however, was that the feature wasn’t entirely free.
[But it does seem to cost a lot of points]
ㄴ[100 points per kilo may not look like much, but it adds up to a lot]
ㄴ[Fuck, I should’ve stopped gambling with my points]
ㄴ[Finally, hoarding them for ten years paid off lol]
It was a scene of wildly mixed emotions.
Just then, the sub-mod flame, which everyone had thought had gone out, flared up again.
