After that, we headed out to clear the Gates beyond Pyongyang.
While we were dealing with the super-large Gate, the guilds apparently hadn't just been sitting around. They'd cleared all the Gates in Gangwon and Hwanghae Provinces.
The only slight problem was that some people had died fighting over how to divide the spoils among the guilds.
I didn't know the details, but ordinary Gates sometimes yielded valuable loot in addition to mana stones and monster byproducts. And with some of the Gates in North Korea being gold-colored, apparently it was bound to happen.
It seemed there weren't any red Gates left, since we'd prioritized clearing all of those during the previous expedition...
"Still, considering the risks, we should go all the way up to North Hamgyong. Or we could start from the top and work our way down. It wouldn't be a bad approach, though it'd be cold."
"Could I freeze to death if it's cold?"
"That'd take extreme subzero temperatures, so don't get your hopes up."
"Aww..."
I'd never tried freezing to death, so I'd been looking forward to it. Guess it couldn't be helped...
