Joo So-jeong wondered if Sawako was in pain and leaned close to look at her face, but whenever Sawako looked at So-jeong, she remembered how she'd nearly done something shameful at the end and kept averting her gaze.

"Things got tangled up in all sorts of ways, but Mi-reu went on such a rampage that we finished up North Hamgyong Province in no time. There are still some Green Gates left, but they won't turn Red, so don't worry. We can stop by and deal with them later, or let the Russian Awakeners handle them."

Jeon Su-yeong gazed into the distance, saying it felt like only yesterday they'd smashed all those lunatics conducting experiments in Russia to combine monsters and Awakeners, then restored the test subjects to normal.

Fortunately, things had worked out well, but apparently, back when they were in their prime, all kinds of people who didn't see other people as human had run rampant.
