What does it even mean to climb a Tower?

What awaits at the end, once you grow stronger and stronger?

Does it grant you a wish?

Or does it grant you a curse that could last a lifetime and still not be enough?

Is it honor, conviction, or pride?

I don't know what the people who climbed the Towers in the early days were thinking.

I never once thought that becoming an Awakener meant I had to climb a Tower.

I climbed one simply because I was curious what a Tower was like.

After that, I climbed because I thought I might find something that could truly kill me.

Even that stopped seeming meaningful at some point, so I stopped climbing...
