I stood before a gray pillar.

Marten, the Silein strategist, had said that there was a shallow cave inside this pillar, and that the ‘root’ was inside it.

And he said that the entity called the Deadliest, which guarded that root, was the final obstacle.

The biggest problem was the Deadliest’s combat power.

Before entering the barracks last night, Marten had explained the Deadliest to us.

- Great Mage) I suppose I should explain the Deadliest’s pure combat power in tiers you can understand. It’s sixth tier.

- Great Mage) It doesn’t use anything like a ‘domain.’

The fact that a sixth-tier being didn’t use a domain didn’t make it any less formidable.

And I was certain there would be an obstacle above the sixth tier on Floor 13.

She was strong...
