The Whitewashed Record

The world was recovering rapidly.

To such an extent that one wouldn't even imagine such events had occurred before.

I entered the Religious Order's Archive Room and pulled out a news report concerning it.

The Remnants of the Past.

Horrific Evil Gods who had crossed over from a forgotten era.

Their malice was so profound that even the Root of the World stepped in to erase their records.

*They're good at whitewashing.*

Because I knew the truth of the matter, the Root of the World's attempt to 'whitewash' the records struck me as truly amusing.

But since it was for the best, I decided to just let it go...
