For me, 'home' was my residence in Albion, the Empire's capital.

I'd kept using the residence beside Leopold Tower—the one I'd lived in since my days as Grand Duke of the South—as my home.

Why did I live in Albion, at the Empire's southernmost tip, rather than in its original capital?

The Empire's original capital was important too, but once I'd established a proper system there, things ran reasonably well without me having to go in person.

Besides, preparing for war was something I had to handle myself, on the ground.

I had to make sure the fleet that would meet the standards of the Ocean Fleet Act was being built properly, and I also had to resolve internal Air Force issues like the one last time.

And those weren't the only problems facing the Empire right now.

With fascists appearing in the Republic of Marezia, the international community was beginning to accept the prospect of war.

Naturally, countries in the international community were desperate to forge alliances with our Empire.
