We spent the whole day with Aris in the stream beneath the waterfall.

By sunset, her body temperature had begun to rise steadily.

Grrr, grrr. Her growling grew more intense, and her body went limp.

Still, thanks to keeping her body temperature down in the water since morning, she didn't lose consciousness.

“Is it good enough to eat?”

“Yes… It's delicious. What is this sweet thing?”

I wanted to let her tear into a large piece of meat, but to be safe, I cooked a mild soup instead.

“There was some fruit from nearby trees, so I added a little.”
