A formal notice from the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education arrived addressed to me.

[Notice of Attendance at Yoo A-yeon's Achievement Assessment for Early Completion of the Elementary School Curriculum]

It was the very exam the superintendent had promised last year.

A special system the superintendent had worked hard to create, allowing me to skip compulsory elementary education with just one exam.

Come to think of it, I am legally an elementary school student right now.

I have even been assigned to the elementary school near our home, yet I have never once set foot in it.

So, as of now.
