Yoo A-yeon would first take an exam covering the entire elementary school curriculum.
This would be followed by an in-depth interview with the Evaluation Committee.
Then, after discussing Yoo A-yeon's test scores and interview, the Evaluation Committee would deliberate.
They would reach a consensus on the spot as to whether to approve Yoo A-yeon's early completion of elementary school.
The exam Yoo A-yeon would take covered Korean language, mathematics, social studies, science, and English—a total of five subjects.
The Solsol Elementary School faculty wrote the questions, and an inspector from the Office of Education verified them.
And since this was a special exception for early completion of the curriculum,
the questions were set at the level of the very top sixth-grade students.
