Afterward, Eun-chae unni and Arin put their heads together and chatted away, sharing the competition schedule.

“Unni-! When is the competition to select the national team?”

“It’s being held next spring. At your age, Arin, I think you can enter all the competitions listed here.”

“Ooh! I definitely wanna enter!”

I quietly watched them from the side.

Until now, Arin had always stuck right by me, simply tagging along whenever I did something with my unnis.

And now she was saying she wanted to enter a competition on her own, one I wasn’t even participating in.

It seemed our Arin was getting ready to venture out into the world little by little.

That sight moved me deeply.
