The White Society's central council chamber was quiet.

Dozens of gazes were fixed on Adrian Arclight, who stood on the podium.

Adrian slowly looked around the council chamber before speaking.

“I will immediately recall all Tradd units currently deployed against Kael.”

Like ripples spreading across a still pond, soft murmurs arose here and there.

“At the same time, I propose that we cease all hostile actions currently being carried out against Kael, including surveillance, pursuit, and suppression.”

The expressions of several representatives gathered around Yvette hardened, but Yvette herself said nothing.

Adrian continued, looking at them.

“Tradd is a joint force of the White Society. It is not an asset that a particular member company can move unilaterally simply because it deems it necessary.”
