Dozens of artillery magic fireballs came flying in at a time, setting off violent explosions.

A massive bombardment unleashed by a single magic knight. The sight of thunderous explosions and flames erupting without pause in one corner of the enormous arena should have showcased the formidable power of artillery magic—yet from Karen’s perspective, as the one unleashing that barrage, it was enough to drive her mad.

“Why won’t it hit!!”

Karen ground her teeth with a shrill cry.

Whether Miriam was simply lucky or was predicting and dodging every one of the dozens of fireballs, it was impossible to tell.

Miriam was still perfectly fine. What was more, she hadn’t allowed even a single hit to land.

“Nnnngh…!!”

Karen gritted her teeth, her shoulders trembling, then grabbed a fireball in each hand with a vicious expression.

The fireballs stretched out like snakes and coiled around both of Karen’s hands...
