The first time I saw demon worshipers in the village, I didn't feel particularly impressed.

It was simply interesting.

After all, this world has a low overall level of martial power. It's low fantasy, right?

So I thought that, whatever demons they worshiped, they couldn't be very strong.

But after capturing them, I realized something while sorting through my thoughts.

Demon worshipers weren't a group from the original story. They might have been a variable created when I crossed over into this world!

So, to prepare for the worst, I came up with a hypothesis. Maybe these guys worshiped the demons from the Tower and were trying to summon one of them into this world by some means.

Even then, it was only speculation, you know?

But not anymore.
