Wandering on the Eve

The Demon God's arrival was one day away.

I was aimlessly wandering the city streets.

There was no particular destination in mind.

Perhaps I simply wanted to observe the flow of the world.

I walked silently.

My footsteps left no discernible sound.

With my shadow fluttering behind me, silence held my lips.

My tightly closed, narrow eyes surveyed the surrounding scenery.
