A Somewhat Unpleasant Day

News of the major accident during the Academy's club activities spread like wildfire, until soon there was hardly anyone who hadn't heard about it.

Some of the details were exaggerated or distorted, but the story itself remained the same.

Two cadets had subdued and killed a minion, then found a holy relic hidden in the ruins and used it to deal a heavy blow to the minion after it transformed into a monster.

Whether my story had been deliberately left out or not, not one of the countless rumors mentioned me.

I was fine with that, but I wondered if they really needed to leave me out.

It wasn't as if anyone would care anyway.
