Jinoori hummed to herself as she briskly filled out this month’s report.

I listened intently to her humming. For someone just humming casually, it was surprisingly sweet.

Maybe it was because vacation started next week. She looked extremely excited.

The school’s end-of-term ceremony was scheduled for mid-December, just a few days before Christmas. It really wasn’t far away.
