I tilted my head at Isol's words.

“Me?”

The request felt out of the blue. We weren't close enough to make separate plans.

Hadn't I only seen her once before?

When I questioned Isol about her request,

“It's because my grades went up. She wants to buy me a meal to thank you.”

“Ah.”

So that's what it was about.

I hadn't thought she'd call me for no reason. She had her reasons, in her own way...
