Teaching was a far more advanced act than learning.

If learning meant simply opening and closing one’s mouth like a fish to swallow knowledge spoon-fed by someone else, then teaching someone required chewing, tearing apart, and biting raw knowledge until it was easy to digest, then passing it on just before it went down their throat.
