Correction report. The act of correcting an erroneous article.

According to the Korean Journalists Association’s Code of Ethics, journalists must candidly acknowledge incorrect reporting and correct it promptly.

But is that really as easy as it sounds?

The media generally tried not to acknowledge the fact that a correction had been issued. The moment they made a false report, they lost their credibility as a news outlet.

That was why correction reports were always made quietly, in some secluded corner where no one would notice.

Did they think someone might throw stones at them for being despicable? Then they simply had to report it even more discreetly.

But QBS was different.
