[Lieutenant colonel Carla Daniel, a DCPD Patrol Officer from East Monica affiliated with the Opening Headquarters, who rose to sudden stardom after consecutively killing terminus executives on sight, has taken on the role of Commander of the newly established counter-terrorism special police unit, Search Bloc, following her special promotion. We look forward to her future endeavors.

Perhaps thanks to lieutenant colonel Daniel, the DCPD has recently been continuously reporting victories against terminus, hasn’t it? Mayor McMillan’s hardline policy of “leaving these disgusting terrorists with no place to set foot in the city” seems to be taking effect. Terminus’s terrorist activities have quieted down significantly compared to before. Could the Ascetic have gotten scared?

It was an evening before opening, with the hologram news playing as usual.

It felt strange that someone who had been chugging alcohol right in this very spot just a few days ago was now appearing as the main headline on DBS News.

“Ah, of course, the Ascetic was a similar case, but…”

Rising to stardom as a Red-grade terrorist and rising to stardom as a heroic police officer protecting the citizens were two completely different stories, weren’t they?

I was letting out a sigh while looking at Carla Daniel’s face floating large on the screen - her eyes glaring intensely despite being full of fatigue.

BANG...
