Everything I had done had led to the worst possible result.

If I had only stayed still, nothing like an apocalypse would have happened. It was all because of me. Every bit of it.

Why was this happening to me?

Was I incapable of becoming a better person?

Was there really nothing I could do except struggle to survive while making the world even worse?
