I bought some everyday items at the convenience store and left.

I sat in the passenger seat and waited a bit until Jardi came in. As soon as she got in, she wordlessly started the engine, and the car moved.

And so, we arrived at the hotel parking lot.

We went to the desk, checked in, and stood in front of the elevator.

We waited in silence, and the doors opened.

Got in.

...

But...

Doesn't this elevator seem a little slow going up?

In silence, we reached the sixth floor...
