The moon rose, and night fell.

Normally, it would have been time to go to bed long ago, but tonight Luna found herself unable to fall asleep.

Even with her eyes closed, sleep would not come; instead, her heart pounded with the thoughts that had filled her mind since daytime.

‘...Mr. Hyeon-woo.’

Banished from her village because of her parents' crimes, Luna had been forced to live alone in the nearby forest with Ellie, who was still a young child. Life in the Great Forest without the village's protection was grueling, to say the least.

She had to risk her life to evade or deal with magical beasts that occasionally attacked, and because she had to provide many necessities herself, her quality of life had declined day by day.

Even so, Luna had a firm goal.
