It was back when I was young, but Seoul once came close to total destruction.

Consequently, even now, security in the outskirts of Seoul remains unstable, and there are many run-down neighborhoods.

Even so, Seoul remains the capital and No. 1 city of South Korea. After being destroyed and rebuilt, Seoul could rival any city in the world.

That was why, even on a weekday, Seoul's busy streets were packed with people, leaving barely enough room to set foot down.

“...What kind of blessing costs that much?”

Of course, whether I liked it or not, my steps were heavier than ever as I walked through the streets toward somewhere. And my bank account was lighter than ever.
