A wooden man the size of an adult stood before me.

This was the first time Set had been summoned since its creation.

The colorful cord bracelets and feathered mask gave it the air of a tribal chieftain, while the staff and dagger it held, one in each hand, radiated threatening mana.

The mana waves coming off it were clearly stronger than mine. Even so, they didn't amount to half of Iroha's, who was on death's door.

Set surveyed its surroundings, then strode over to me and knelt with its arms crossed.

"You've grown a lot since I first made you..."

It was different from the other Pygmies.

A while ago, aboard the Douglas Kim Airbus, I'd created what could only be called a 'masterpiece.' I had originally intended to make an ordinary Superior Pygmy.

But then something popped out from inside its chest and was sucked into the doll. Before long, it had absorbed the Superior Core I was holding all on its own...
