The Thread of Reason

By the time I finished sorting out the real estate matters, it was evening.

I decided to call it a night and get moving tomorrow.

But when I called Lee Chang-jin to ask for his contact information, I heard something unexpected.

-So you want to meet Ilhwan?

"Yes. It was the deceased's request, so if you could just give me his contact information, I'll contact him myself..."

-......We're having a drink together right now. Hold on a second.

From the speaker, I heard, 'He says he wants to see you?'

Judging by the words I could clearly hear and the way they were said, I got the impression he'd told Ilhwan not to mention that I was a noble.

Lee Chang-jin acted as a go-between since I couldn't share my contact information. When he told Kang Ilhwan that a girl who'd met 'Na Ji-hoon' had shown up, Ilhwan immediately asked when he could meet me.

I told him I'd come over now. It would be a problem if I met him alone and the story I'd worked out with Lee Chang-jin got tangled up...
