The next day, Aurora, who had called Leon over, proudly reported her success, clapping excitedly.

It was something Leon had suggested after feeling sorry for her, trapped inside the castle while everyone else enjoyed the festival.

“Try asking the Emperor for permission.”

“If he says yes, great. Even if he doesn't, there's nothing to lose.”

Taking that advice, Aurora went to see the Emperor the night before, and with the Empress backing her up, succeeded in getting permission to go out.

“For the whole day?”
