Edwin opened the book and began his story.

“One day, the king asked the sage to create a place where his people could live safely and never go hungry, even in years of famine.”

Shabel's eyes followed the figure of the old man holding a staff.

“The sage granted his request and built a palace underground. It was a comfortable subterranean kingdom, free of natural disasters and monsters.”

“Are you saying humans created the dungeon?”

“If the palace in the records was the dungeon, then yes.”

Edwin turned the page.

“The underground palace granted people's wishes. Minerals appeared there endlessly, and crops could be harvested regardless of the season.”

Thanks to the riches that came up from the palace, the treasury overflowed, and the granaries never ran empty.

The people praised the king who had brought them prosperity, and even neighboring countries envied their good fortune...
