A strange rumor began circulating around Romantia.

“Have you heard? They say no monsters are appearing in the dungeon.”

“What do you mean, no monsters?”

“Apparently, monsters have vanished from both the upper and middle floors over the past few days. Everyone who's gone in says the same thing.”

When the rumor first spread, most people didn't think much of it.

Every now and then, when a top-ranked adventurer entered the dungeon, the monsters along their route were nearly wiped out.

But day by day, more people began telling the same story.

“Rick's party made it down to the 9th floor? Aren't they only copper-rank?”
